GOLFING IN IRELAND

I am creating this website to shine a light on the greatest golf country in the world. That may seem a grand statement to some but to those of us that are lucky enough to call this place home... we know once you have visited, you will agree!

In the aftermath of The 153rd Open Championship held at Royal Portrush I found myself immensely proud of where I am from and what this little country can achieve.

I also had numerous conversations with folks on the train to and from Portrush from all parts of the world who just loved the golf in Ireland and wanted to know and discover more.

And so Golfing in Ireland is hopefully going to become a stopping point to discover the fantastic Golf that Ireland has to offer. There are over 400 courses in Ireland and I want you, the golfer to review them, share them with your fellow golfers from right here in Ireland and right around the world. Each club page on this website has a review section where you can share your thoughts, your stories, your pictures of your experience for all to see. Maybe its your home course and you want to shout about it, maybe its somewhere you had previously never heard of and played recently and fond the experience to be out of this world.

Whatever the story, we are here to tell it!

Explore the golf courses of Ireland

I aim to map all the golf clubs and courses in Ireland starting in the North as thats where I am based and rolling this out to the whole of the Island of Ireland. You will be able to rate your experiences, leave reviews and recommendations, but ultimately this is to discover new courses to enjoy and explore.

I will also add in accommodation and transport suppliers so this can be a resource for you to plan the ultimate golfing experience, for those of you who want to plot a route less travelled or want to do the bucket list courses, it will all be here for you.
