Glorious County Down
County Down is a county that I now call home, so can the golf courses of this beautiful county really match that of my home County of Antrim?
In short, yes, County Down has it all. It has the undisputed number 1 voted golf course on the entire planet so its pedigree is there for all to see.
Royal County Down sticks out of the list and I am not going to go on too much about it but my only experience to date is a non playing one, walking the fairways of the Irish Open and I was simply in awe of the place. Never has a course had such an impact on me just by looking at it. Stunning in every detail. And I think its the attention to detail that makes it stand out, everything is simply... perfection.
